I have only tried FM reception, both with the antenna it comes with and a Nagoya NA-771, I had no luck at all, outside. It is my first UHF/VHF radio, I got it for Rx only, so maybe I am missing something. I've seen other reviews and the radio worked fine on FM. Need to study this further :)
