Released in November 1968, ‘The Beatles’ – also referred to as ‘The White Album’ - is the ninth studio album by The Beatles. Created in direct contrast to the vivid cover art of ‘Sgt. Pepper’s Lonely Hearts Club Band’, the plain white sleeve of the album contains no graphics or text beyond the band’s name embossed on the cover. Later special edition releases feature some more colourful artwork.
